You can never go wrong SHARING JESUS: CCM #2
Buenas tardes!!
It’s been a good week here en la CCM, but it has also been a ¿Qué en el mundo? 🌎 (What in the world) week. That’s my new favorite thing to say btw. Literally applies to any situation here.
Race night 🏃♂️- ¿Qué en el mundo?
The food 🍗- ¿Qué en el mundo?
Our silly attempts at spanish- ¿Qué en el mundo?
Quite literally anything the Élderes do- ¿QUÉ EN EL MUNDO?
And to top it all off, one of the Elders in my district told us he shaved his legs the other day because he was curious. All the other elders gave him crap about it lol, but he said it felt so good and smooth and “is something every guy should do at least once in their life.” ¿Qué en el mundo? Then we told him that the hair would grow back more prickly and it would become a horrible never ending cycle. You guys, the fear in his eyes was so real. It was HILARIOUS. Haha, we got a good laugh about that.
Life is good here at the CCM. It is exhausting, but the spirit is strong. Two things that really stuck out to me this week are 1. Exaltation is not cheap or easy, so why do we expect a mission (or life in general) to be easy? Jesus paid the ultimate price, the greatest sum, the most anyone has ever given up for US! It was never ever easy for him, so why would it be easy for us? Ponder on that when life feels hard because I promise you he not only knows what you are feeling, but he will strengthen you through it. And you can better come to understand the smallest fraction of what he has felt. It helps us to become more like him.
On that note, 2. is SHARE JESUS! We had an activity where we shared a scripture with my companion’s aunt and uncle who aren’t super commited to the church. I didn’t know their story fully and I worried about what to say that could help them the most and the thought came to mind you can never go wrong with sharing Jesus Christ. I testify that that is true. Share Jesus in all that you do because honestly we ALL NEED MORE JESUS IN OUR LIVES. You really never will go wrong in sharing Jesus, his atonement, and his love for all of us.❤️
That being said, I love you all, but Jesus loves you even more. MAS MUCHO. I hope y’all have a great week and learn more about Jesus and try to share Jesus with those you come in contact with.
