  Buenas tardes!! It’s been a good week here en la CCM, but it has also been a ¿Qué en el mundo? 🌎 (What in the world) week. That’s my new favorite thing to say btw. Literally applies to any situation here.  Race night 🏃‍♂️- ¿Qué en el mundo? The food 🍗- ¿Qué en el mundo? Our silly attempts at spanish- ¿Qué en el mundo? Quite literally anything the Élderes do- ¿QUÉ EN EL MUNDO? And to top it all off, one of the Elders in my district told us he shaved his legs the other day because he was curious. All the other elders gave him crap about it lol, but he said it felt so good and smooth and “is something every guy should do at least once in their life.” ¿Qué en el mundo? Then we told him that the hair would grow back more prickly and it would become a horrible never ending cycle. You guys, the fear in his eyes was so real. It was HILARIOUS.   HELLO EVERYONEEE! I am coming to you from the CCM in la ciudad de Mexico. WOW WOW WOW there is truly so much that has happened and I know emails can get LONGGG so I will try to keep it at a *reasonable* length. Picking up where I left off, I had my farewell which was awesome. Huge shout out to everyone who helped with that especially my amazing parents. Then Thursday was the day to leave and boy oh boy was that HARD. I cannot describe the surreal feeling walking through the airport having just said goodbye to your family for 18 months. IT WAS HARD. But you know what, I can do hard things and you can too because guess who is supporting us, guess who is doing all the heavy lifting…that’s right, Jesus Christ. (I hope yall guessed right lol). And those first few hours continued to be hard, but it got so much better. It was a gradual thing for sure and the hard does not automatically go away as much as we wish it would.   Hello everyone!! Hermana Jensen coming to you live from...home.  For the past week, I have been doing home MTC and it has truly been a great experience. The hours of staring at a computer screen while on zoom can be VERYYY long, but I have learned so so much and I am so very excited to be able to meet my district and my companion and my teachers in person at the Mexico MTC. (Here's a cutie picture of us on zoom). The typical schedule is something that I always wondered about before I started my mission, so I figured I'd let yall know. We wake up at 6:30 then exercise, get ready, breakfast, and personal study til 9 which is when my morning class on gospel doctrine is. Personal study is SO AMAZING. It is for one hour and I just get to enjoy feasting on the word of God during that time. I love the Book of Mormon so so much and I feel like I learn new and important things every time I read it.
