A bear a bear

 Hellooooooo everyone how are you doing??? Before we get into it, you should all wish my dad a very happy 44th birthday (he's so old), but what a silly week we had:


🥪I ate subwayyyyy, I felt so American and it was awesome. It's the first time in months I have had turkey.

🚿We had intercambios and I was with the hermana Bringa and we start eating lunch and she is about to pour the water pitcher in her cup and it breaks and she literally dunks herself in water and I just lost it, I laughed so hard, but then obviously helped clean it up. It was so much water, we joked that she got baptized by immersion 🤣

🎢One of the converts told us that she wants to visit the states, but that "they sure won't let me in, but maybe in Miami" then she said "nos vemos en Disney" which is like saying there is no chance that that is happening.....but I'm holding out faith that we'll see her in Disney world one day

🐻In Spanish, a ver (a bear) literally means to see, but it is used all the time ESPECIALLY by the hermana líderes. After just one day with them we have been brainwashed into saying a bear a bear all the time. Apparently there's a lot of bears in Argentina

📝I finally went to Comodoro for vacations (read: I had to become legal), but it was really pretty there and way cool to finally see the mission office. But dang legal paperwork has got to be the most boring thing in the world, anyways I think I'm legal now🤞


Milagro de la semana: 

Belén came to church yesterday. She came basically out of nowhere and the last time she had come to church was in 2023. She's 16 years old and I think she really liked it. She is so awesome and made sacrifices to be able to come and it was so amazing to see her there. We showed her the baptismal font and she said she was interested so VAMOSSSSS BELÉN!🩷🔥😊


If you guys could keep her in your prayers as well as Sabrina that would be amazingisimo!


I want to share a banger scripture that I read this week from Mosiah 4:

12 And behold, I say unto you that if ye do this ye shall always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God, and always retain a remission of your sins; and ye shall grow in the knowledge of the glory of him that created you, or in the knowledge of that which is just and true.

If you want to always rejoice, be filled with God's love, have a remission of your sins (feel clean), and grow in knowledge, the scripture says that ye must do THIS, and to find what 'this' is we've gotta look back in this chapter.

We must:

🔥Apply the atonement in our lives

🔥Exercise faith

🔥Trust God

🔥Keep his commandments 

🔥Pray daily

🔥Be humble

🔥ALWAYS RETAIN IN REMEMBERANCE what great things God has done for you. This is the exact same wording as the sacrament. If we truly remember Jesus Christ and his atonement always, the blessings come. The rejoicing, the feeling full of the spirit, the remission of sins and the growth of understanding. 


I invite you all to read Mosiah 4 and to do what you need to do to be able to ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM!

  Hola! It’s another P-day en la CCM. I swear time is not real here lol and all the days do be blending together. But here we are. This week has been good and FULL of español. Yesterday, we started solo español which means we have a punishment for speaking English in class. It’s pushups and your girl do not be wanting to do pushups, so YEAH solo solo solo español. As far as spanish goes, I have seen the hand of God in my life. There is absolutely no way I could do this on my own. LOVE JESUS MORE THAN ANYTHING (FIN DE CCM)

  Yo yo yo what is up!?! It’s the homestretch of the CCM and ¡estoy muy emocionoso! In one week, I will be in Argentina teaching the gospel FULLY EN ESPAÑOL. Needless to say, I am quite nervous about that, but so so excited  (thus emocionoso=emocionado+nervioso).😨🥳 It has been a pretty good week. Kinda feels like the same day over and over lol. We get up, eat breakfast, have personal study (MY LITERAL FAVORITE TIME), class, gym/service, lunch, more class, workshops, dinner, study. Some days vary, but that’s truly what I’ve been living every single day. Yours truly is SO READY to teach real people. On thursday, our district did a compliment circle and yes it sounds corny (I know), but it was actually SO SO AMAZING. It was very needed because we all need to work on being kinder to each other. Everyone needs compliments in their life. It felt awesome to receive the compliments, but it felt 1000 times better to give someone a sincere, genuine compliment that brightens their face...

CCM week 1: Accidentally called an Élder a whore

  HELLO EVERYONEEE! I am coming to you from the CCM in la ciudad de Mexico. WOW WOW WOW there is truly so much that has happened and I know emails can get LONGGG so I will try to keep it at a *reasonable* length. Picking up where I left off, I had my farewell which was awesome. Huge shout out to everyone who helped with that especially my amazing parents. Then Thursday was the day to leave and boy oh boy was that HARD. I cannot describe the surreal feeling walking through the airport having just said goodbye to your family for 18 months. IT WAS HARD. But you know what, I can do hard things and you can too because guess who is supporting us, guess who is doing all the heavy lifting…that’s right, Jesus Christ. (I hope yall guessed right lol). And those first few hours continued to be hard, but it got so much better. It was a gradual thing for sure and the hard does not automatically go away as much as we wish it would.
